Lead Strip Continuous Casting and Rolling Line
Our LZ+Q line produces coiled lead or lead-alloy strip through melting, continuous casting, rolling, cooling and collection. The line is configured for your strip dimensions and downstream plate-making requirements, with ventilation and fume collection addressed in the project scope.
Key Features
• Continuous casting feeds the rolling section without repeated batch transfer.
• Melt preparation and filtration are arranged for the confirmed lead-alloy duty.
• Rolling and cooling are coordinated to control strip dimensions and collection condition.
• Coiling or strip collection is selected from the downstream process.
• Centralized ventilation and fume collection can be integrated with the agreed plant scope.
Equipment Composition
The production line is mainly composed of:
• Lead melting furnace and alloy-smelting device
• Holding furnace and filter box
• Continuous casting machine
• Traction and tension-detection devices
• Front shear and feed mechanism
• Continuous rolling mill and lubrication system
• Rear shear
• Cleaning and drying section
• Double-reel strip collection
• Hydraulic and electrical control systems
Technical Parameters
| Product Thickness (mm) | Product Width (mm) | Rolling Speed (m/min) | Production Capacity (t/h) | Total Power (kW) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.8–2.5 | 100–500 | 1–6 | 2–5 | 320 |
| 1–3 | 300–650 | 1–8 | 3–6 | 450 |
What Determines Strip Quality and Output
Alloy consistency, melt temperature and casting stability establish the conditions for rolling. The reduction schedule, cooling and collection tension are then matched to the required strip thickness, width and coil format, taking account of the downstream battery-plate or industrial process.
The table gives reference configurations. We confirm the practical duty against the alloy and finished-strip requirements, with ventilation and fume collection considered from the start of engineering alongside the layout and other plant interfaces.
Suitable Melt
Pure lead and confirmed lead-alloy melt, including recycled routes where composition and preparation are controlled for the required strip.
Typical Applications
Lead-acid battery plate material and other industrial lead-alloy strip supplied in the agreed thickness, width and collection format.

Planning a Lead Strip Line
Tell us the lead strip you need and how it will be used. We can begin with your available product information and installation country. During the technical review, we confirm alloy, melt preparation, thickness, width, output, surface and coil or collection method, then review the downstream plate process, layout, utilities, ventilation, fume collection and local safety requirements.
From Strip Duty to Technical Proposal
In our proposal, we define melt preparation, caster, rolling, cooling, collection, controls and environmental interfaces. We confirm final performance for the alloy, strip and downstream duty.
